Participant: the actual person who participates in the event. The Customer and Participant may or may not be the same person.
The Customer is responsible for communicating these Terms and Conditions to the ultimate Participant(s).
Devoxx cannot be held liable for any damage arising from the fact that Participants are not aware of these conditions.
The Customer acknowledges that registration for the event creates a payment obligation and expressly accepts this.
Invoices are legally binding and cannot be cancelled. If necessary, a credit note can be issued (see cancellation policy article 8).
In accordance with article VI.53, 12° of the Economic Law Code, the consumer does not have a right of withdrawal when purchasing tickets for an event.

Tickets are only sent after receipt of payment.
After receipt of payment, the Customer receives a confirmation email.
The Customer is personally responsible for correctly filling in their details. Devoxx is not liable for incorrectly sent tickets as a result of incorrect information.
If no payment is received within the specified term, Devoxx reserves the right to deny the Customer and/or Participant(s) access to the event, without any right to compensation or refund arising.
In case of late payment, default interest is due by operation of law and without notice of default in accordance with the provisions of the Law of August 2, 2002 concerning the fight against payment delays in commercial transactions, and a lump-sum compensation of 10% with a minimum of EUR 125.00.
Devoxx reserves the right to take additional legal steps for the collection of outstanding amounts.

Participation in the event is at the complete and personal responsibility of the Participant.
Devoxx reserves the right to refuse or remove Participants in case of inappropriate behavior, without right to refund.
These Terms and Conditions and all Agreements between Devoxx and the Customer are exclusively governed by Belgian law.
